I can't believe that the crew travels to fricken Victoria and Sooke, I was shook when I read that. I live on Vancouver Island and was rolling. However it was described very strangely and I can't tell if LJ Smith went on a trip here and was trying to recall what it was like. To be fair this book is like 30 years old but yeah lol

The story continues with The Possessed and it just gets darker all the time. There are some really strange revelations here, like the slime trails, and the peculiar group of people in Washington who wont lift a finger to help them (although they were called there to be helped by them).

This book wasn't so good, but it was obviously one of those tie-in novels between The Beginning and The Final Battle.

I liked the first book in the series and couldn't wait to read the second. While I found the second one to be enjoyable I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book.

I think the characters were developed quite a bit more in this book than the first book and I didn't really like the way any of them acted. All of the characters seemed to annoy me. Even Gabriel who I had started to like in the first book.

However, the story line was really interesting. I look forward to the continuation of it in the last book.

I think that The Possessed is a good book to read if you enjoy something a little different and supernatural. It's a really light read that doesn't take much time to get through. If you're a fan of L.J Smith then you might enjoy The Possessed.
