I really liked Mirren and Glory's story. I was thrown off a couple of times, but the surprises kept me on my toes.

I read all three books in this series back to back and will be putting my review on book there. Look for it there.

oftentimes after a great first book to a series you feel swindled that the author wanted to make money from a series when they could have just written one really good bigger book instead of several padded out follow-ons. This is actually one of the rare cases where the subsequent books like up to the first and are written to the same standard with good plot and character development. Mirren is probably my favourite vampire in this series so far and this was a really enjoyable book.
