The battle to end petrification begins!

Senku and the Kingdom of Science are ready to make their move to retrieve the device that causes petrification and save their friends. However, the battle relies on an unlikely ally that could cost them the battle. With new inventions and Senku's clever thinking, the battle is ready to begin!

Similar to the most recent volumes, the inventions come quickly and with greater precision. Less explaining is done since the Kingdom of Science continues to learn more quickly. The action is fast with a lot going on. There are some surprises in store for readers.

Can't wait for the next volume!

This volume was SUPER TENSE and the whole showdown is lasting far, far longer than I expected. Chrome gets to be extra cool in this one.

*Review of Volumes 13-15*
Things are getting heated! I especially did not see the plot twist about the master. The big encounter with the petrification device is especially exciting!
Thank goodness for plot armor that these guys aren't dead. And why is Hyoga so hot? I think Hyoga might be one of my favorite characters depending on how things turn out.
Poor mentalist really is performing miracles out here, carrying the team. That cliffhanger at the end was despicable!

As is typical when it comes to intricate plans to intimidate bad guys in this series, it doesn't go as planned and they have to come up with a clever & witty solution.
In this case, all the group's best fighters are not in any way able to compete with the enemy powerhouse.
So it comes down to being INCREDIBLY thankful they decided to bring along their prisoners of war; their last bad threat is now their only hope.
But it looks like the old man's desperation ploy involves mutual destruction.
HOW WILL OUR HEROES GET OUT OF THIS PICKLE?
(if you say "science," i'ma slap you upside the head)
