Being introduced to Hathor in the previous books, she comes off annoying but as we peel back the layers and get to know her on a deeper level you can tell she is often misunderstood and dismissed. She is definitely treated differently than others in her family and she wears their rearing at face value, using everything she was taught to connect with her perfect match, the rebellious prince.

Now, she did make it difficult for herself as she didn’t understand her feelings for him while everyone else around her saw it. He was the perfect challenge that she needed and they literally ran into each other and fell in love.

This is my fave book in this series so far!!! Read this in 24 hours, I love Hathor

I absolutely LOVED Hathor's story! The banter between her and the prince, their first meeting, and how she stayed completely and authentically herself and found love that would push her to mature without losing the core of who she is. I really hope that we continue to see the Du Bell sisters, since I want to see the stories unfold for Devana and Abena especially, since her personality is so wild and unrestrained. I would also like to see who Hecter would end up with, since I feel he'd be the type to be reserved like his father in public but joke and tease the woman he loved. Overall I loved all three books, and I loved how tight the family was but also how dynamic it was and getting to see it from so many points of view. I loved that Hathor and her mother got to really talk and resolve the misunderstanding between them, and that Hathor really grew and began understanding that her parents really wanted the best for her and truly valued her happiness above everything, even if that meant going against the queen.

I didn’t want this one to end! I wish the epilogue was longer. Either way, Hathors love story was gorgeous, the trauma was TOP TIER and overall this was just flawless. I loved that this was ACTUAL enemies to lovers, it was fun to watch them shift to being into each other. 10s across the board!
