When I tell you I ran to read The Marriage Auction 2, I mean literally ran! I finished The Marriage Auction on my bathroom floor at 3 in the morning. Why? So I didn't bother my husband and my kids couldn't see the light to know to bother me. I was obsessed and I am equally as obsessed with The Marriage Auction 2.

Memphis is a washed up college footballer who wants to help his family and the only male candidate of the story. Julianne has revenge in her blood and needs money to do it. Maia is a young woman who came from a rough background who doesn't see any way out. And Sarah wants help with her family business.

Naomi refuses to follow the path her family sets out, Giovanni is a morally grey touch her and die type of guy, Rhodes gives off xaddy vibes and Yuk saw the success with his own brother and is ready for his shot at happiness.

What could go wrong? Or right. Well, so, so much. My favorite couple is Giovanni and Julianne. The family drama, revenge, best friends sister vibes are magical and I'd read an entire spin off series just of them.

Audrey Carlan continues to outdo herself with each iteration of The Marriage Auction and I can't wait to read Book Two!

Thank you GetRedPR for the gifted ARC!

I read the first book of The Marriage Auction and really enjoyed it so was excited for another season and new characters. As with the first round, this is an incredibly well-written book and a whole lot of fun. There are four new couples, and each character brings something new to the table. This story, just like the first is told through their different perspectives, and occasionally their partner or prospective partner as well. I loved the addition of a male character in this season, Memphis, he was fantastic. I can’t wait to read more about him and find out what Ms. Carlan has in store for him. Out of the four characters I think that my favorite was Summer because she has a very unorthodox upbringing and she doesn’t need a man to prop her up. She has very strong female vibes going on and I want to read more about her in the upcoming books.

This book releases July 16 and don’t worry! The entire season is going to release on that day so once you finish one book you can pick the next one right up and keep going! Genius right (I think so)

This series continues to be compulsively readable and absolutely the most embarrassing books I’ve read all year.

I enjoyed this book! I didn’t absolutely LOVE it but I enjoyed all of the characters and I did fall in love with this series with the first round of marriage auction and I love that the first round of characters are still being mentioned in the second! You definitely don’t have to read the first round before getting to this one, but definitely read each round of the marriage auction in the correct order.

I’m excited to see what events await each character because I can just tell that these characters have sooo much more baggage than the first round of characters.
