I loved the two mains in this story, and I’m telling you, I didn’t think any couple could surpass my love for Danny & Wyn. Gage (human) & Aury (the Ryke) are the sweetest little duo. Throw in some pet chickens and it’s solidified!!
While Aury is similar to Wyn in that they’re both “big bad monsters” that most fear, Wyn has that little bit of a snarky edge while Aury is one of the gentlest, shy beasties we’ve come to meet. We also got some more interactions with the caged Aytorin and Moth, lining up the next two books.
The world Lily had created here is unique and enthralling - I love how they all weave together and can’t wait to continue.
