Like always, Black Butler is a beautiful manga that delivers great storylines with wonderful characters and amazing art, and this volume is no exception. What I really loved about Volume 20 was the mix of light and dark. On one hand, you have Ciel, who is cursed and terrified of literally almost everyone and everything, but towards the end of the manga, Yana manages to throw a lot of humor in, which is something I love so much about this series. Not only that, but her author's note at the end is hilarious as well. Also, we get a glimpse of Sebastian's devil powers and how he acts as one, which is something I absolutely love to learn about every time Yana adds it in.
Overall, another fantastic volume.

Эта манга абсолютно гениальная и я не понимаю, почему ее не читает еще больше людей.

As usual I had mixed feelings about this one. Finny has grown a lot on this arc, maybe more than anyone. Oscar, too, worked well. Ciel's sudden break down, his inner battle and recovery was a bit muddy and something of a let down. I will say Sebastian letting his inner demon out to play was gorgeously rendered.
The witch arc had some unexpected twists. I liked those. That was worth it.
I'm still not sure what the queen's horseman is all about. He does things that suggest a great deal of magic is involved.
I'll assume the witch arc will wrap up next time. Maybe not happily ever after either for her.

This book was good. It had good character development and the plot moves along well. The reveals were actually somewhat unexpected. If the previous plots had been like this I could have really enjoyed them more. This werewolf plot isn’t over yet, so I’m hoping to not be disappointed with the conclusion.
