This was an amazing read. The Rose Harbor series just keeps getting better and better. This is the third instalment to the series, and I loved it. Jo Marie and Mark Taylor are really cute together and I want them to be a couple. Jo Marie has three new visitors at the Inn: Ellie Reynolds, and the Porters (Maggie and Roy). Ellie Reynolds came to Cedar Cove to meet Tom and to know more about her father. Maggie and Roy Porter came to the Inn to rekindle their marriage. It has been through some difficult times as we continue their journey in this book. The story was heartfelt and sweet. I thought the characters were more interesting in this one. Also, it seems like when characters stay at the Inn at Rose Harbor that people find themselves and in turn love. I think that is beautiful. I can’t wait to read Silver Linings next. Overall, an incredible read.

This series always makes me cry then at the end I have a happy feeling. I love how Jo Marie is always there for her guests and puts their needs first even though she is struggling. She is dealing with the death of her husband and trying to figure out why her friend Mark is acting so weird. She just doesn't understand why he is being secretive and standoffish...
Looking forward to reading the next book!

Love Letters by Debbie Macomber
I have read all the other books in this series and enjoy them. Each book brings you up to date so they can also be a stand alone book.
This one continues at the Harbor Rose Inn where Jo Marie runs the B&B and Mark is the handyman. This book is also not only about them and others in town but the guests that have come to stay.
One is to meet a man she met online but her mother is pestering her to be careful. Alternating chapters are also about a couple that need time to mend their marriage.
Each one brings new things to the book, underground tour, Pikes Place Market, sailing, farmer's market and so much more.
Love hearing of the relationships each has and what they must overcome. So many surprises along the way for them all. Letters from the past...
I received this book from early reviewers from Library Thing in exchange for my honest review.

Fluff read...didn't realize it was the third book in the series until I was done, I won't continue, or read the previous books.

Another solid installment in the Rose Harbor series, and possibly my favorite so far. It definitely leaves off at a bit of a cliffhanger, just by way of warning!

I adore visiting Cedar Cove. I kind of took a break, as I'm not a huge fan of Jo Marie (and I'm still not). I do, however, love Mark, the guests that come to stay at the B&B, and the various residents of CC.
Ellie is in town to meet Tom, who she met online. There's lots of Mother/Daughter drama, and the insecurities Ellie is dealing with because of her mother's hang-ups and absentee father. Tom uses really poor judgement in why he hooked up with Ellie initially ... but there's a quick resolution once it hits the fan.
Maggie/Roy are reluctantly on a weekend get-a-way to salvage their marriage. Both have had their own indiscretions ... and the B&B works it's magic on this couple as well.
Jo Marie and Mark are two-stepping closer, but Mark drops a bombshell at the end of the book ...and it's going to interesting to see how these two end up together ... eventually :)

Reading this book was like going home. I've read all of the Cedar Cove books and the ones in the Rose Harbor Inn series as well, all set in Cedar Cove. It's lovely to see characters from the past and meeting new ones that come in to Jo Marie's inn.
This time around we see Jo Marie trying to figure our the handy man, Mark Taylor. He keeps to himself and he doesn't mind it. He never speaks about his past or himself. When Jo Marie starts asking questions he closes up tight. Jo Marie decides she's going to ask around town to find out what she can, but she soon finds out that no one knows much about him.
Ellie is coming to Cedar Cove to meet a man that she'd been talking to over the internet for months. Her mother is very overprotective and is telling her that something bad will happen. Trying to insert her independence she decides to ignore all of her mother's doubts and go to meet Tom. When she gets there she is so nervous about meeting him, but when she does it's lovely. So much ends up happening with her trip, she meets the father she never knew and all the stories she'd been told were quickly proving to be lies.
Maggie and Roy were having a weekend away from their kids. Their life has been hard lately. Both have done things to hurt the other but now Maggie is hoping this time away will help them reconnect. She hopes that he's keeping his promise to stay away from the old girlfriend he was emotionally connecting with. Roy is trying to ignore all of it. He just wants everything is to go back to the way it was, without having to talk about it. When he learns about the secret she's got it might destroy their lives forever.
So many things go on in this book, I don't want to give anything away. I'll just say this, if you've read all of the other books from this town then you'll enjoy this one just as much as the other. It makes you feel like you're visiting old friends. Go and visit the Rose Harbor Inn and Cedar Cove, it's well worth it!!
