#3 in the Supper Club series by Ellery Adams.
James Henry is looking good and feeling more confident now that he has shed a few pounds and acquired a girl friend....but the seems to be trouble on his horizon. Lucy is spending more time working towards her goal of making detective. On the plus side, James' other relationships are going well and he and the group join a cooking class. The story really picks up here, and the mystery deepens.
I so enjoy the narrator of these books-- she brings the characters to life.

A great series
As always, relatable characters and a mystery full of suspects. This is a good story that kept me guessing. A really good read.

That was terrible. It's been awhile since I read the first two books in this series but there is no way they were this bad. Just know that if you are looking for a mystery, nothing happens until 80% in. Also there is tons of male commentary on women's bodies and lots of food shaming.

I enjoyed this book. I can't decide if I like the reporter with the Professor or not, but the murder was keeping me guessing longer than it normally would because of a couple characters coming and going, but can't wait for next one

This is another great visit with James and the Flab Five. I really enjoyed reading this one and seeing James become more confident in himself as changes occur in his personal life. JB Stanley does an excellent job and I look forward to the next one.

It started out slow for me. Men talking about diet and exercising and watching their weight? Didn't really make me want to keep reading. But I did and I'm glad I did. The author wove mystery and comedy through the story. And some yummy recipes.
