This was an enjoyable read. I didn't necessarily feel the Christmas spirit but loved the friendships in this story. I appreciated the look at the past and how it all influenced their future. I loved the mystery that had taken place.

This is a closed-door romance which is fine but could we at least have seen a make-up kiss. We had a decade's worth of slow burn, it's the least we deserve!

Despite of the book being centered around Durham uni (and the main character being a law student and many more relatable details) I can’t give it more than 3.5 stars due to the many plot holes and inconsistencies.

I did enjoy the book but felt it could have had the events unfold quicker making it a shorter story.

Friends reunite and end up stuck in the Manor thanks to a storm. Characters all have their own stories which brings a diverse range of problems.

Possibly should have some trigger warns.
