I really enjoyed this book. I found it a wee bit slow to begin with.
A totally unexpected part to the plot.

This was not what I expected at all, not a cosy Christmas book but so good! I loved all the flawed characters and the tension between Archie and Libby was so well written. A complete surprise and a great 99p kindle deal!

Loved reading this over Christmas. Lighthearted and predictable in places but surprising in others. A fun holiday read.

I picked this up on a whim in a charity shop a few weeks
ago and had zero expectations. But Karen Swan really is as good as they say! I loved every second of this! It’s set in a snowy Manor House in Yorkshire in the run up to Christmas when a group of uni friends reunite.
There’s hidden histories, love interests, a cosy setting and even an escaped convict 😂 for a Christmas book it really does have everything and more!
This was my first Karen swan book but it won’t be my last
