Meh ... the concept and plot was mildly interesting at first but barely held my attention through the book. The characters were a bit cartoonish and the depiction of a seemingly world-class newspaper in a far-flung exurb was totally ridiculous, even for 2006. Definitely won’t pick up book number 2.
