This book is beautifully done. Maria Hesse is a brilliant illustrator whose whimsical space/folk style kinda makes me want to float off like Major Tom. It’s a concise biography, more a general overview, and includes in the narrative many of the fantastical elements David Bowie included in his recounting of his life. This works, considering the whimsical style of the whole. I found this read pretty darn delightful.
