Üstkurmaca bana göre değil.Tekrar ikna oldum.Kendime not!

Picked this up at the library because the author wrote one of my favorite novels of the century: The Lost Children Archives. This feels like practice for that - a little world-crossing, a little bit of relationships invisibly falling apart, a little fun, a chunk of academia .... I love Luiselli's style, so I very much enjoyed this. But for high substance with high, creative style, I cannot recommend The Lost Children Archives highly enough.

Started this on the commute earlier this week, ended up finishing it in the two hour wait to vote this morning at an early voting site. How these three POVs all end up weaving together and interacting with each other is utterly fascinating, especially as it unfolds across the novel and they start intersecting in unforeseen ways, along with some excellently snide commentary. Definitely worth your time as an early work of Luiselli's.

Clever and poetic and strange. I found myself chuckling often in this book. This is not a book I would recommend to everybody but to those who love prose and literary surprises, this is an enchanting magical journey.

Feverish and pretty and meandering and a little sexy but only kind of.

I loved it until it started to feel forced. I think she over egged the pudding.

While the novel explores themes of isolation, urban life, and artistic influence, I found the narrative structure challenging and struggled to grasp the main point. Its unconventional style reflects modern identity’s fragmented nature, but it can feel too intricate to easily follow.
