This whole series is amazing, I have enjoyed every minute of it and as soon as I finish one book, I immediately pick up the next

Formulaic and predictable with the same issues for the main character as every other book preceding it.

Decent murder mystery - a bit gruesome for my taste. But a quick and easy read that kept me listening. However, authors, if you include something specific as a plot element, such as piano tuning, please get a piano tuner to critique. Please. I read this audiobook on Hoopla.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about the drama going on in her personal life anymore. She, her daughter and her boyfriend are all selfish in one way or the other but can't own up to that. They all want something from her, while she's more interested in her career (which I can't fault her for enjoying because DAMN, woman!) The only reason I'm still reading is that each case Kate Wise solves is different, exciting, and incredibly captivating. You just HAVE to watch the mystery unravel.

I have listed to all 5 of Kate Wise books. I get hooked and I really enjoyed them. The narrator is also great. My only compliant: Durant ALWAYS pulls Kate off the case because she's not solving them promptly and she ALWAYS disobeys his orders and gets the case solved...it's expected!!

Still entertaining and easy to read, but it gets old that Kate is so easily pulled of the case after having to drop everything to be on the case...
