Este no me gustó, era un tema que pudo haber dado para más pero se quedó corto, fue muy lenta y ni siquiera la parte de acción fue buena, muy conveniente :/ Evan me desagrado, solo Andy me gustó xd

This one was disappointing and it makes me sad. The premise of Monster Blood is interesting, but unfortunately I didn’t enjoy it. Evan is kind of annoying, and the story unfortunately isn’t creepy enough for me, especially when compared to other entries in the series. Not to mention the plot twist comes out of nowhere and doesn’t really make sense, even for Goosebumps.

I read this one as a child and I didn’t understand why I couldn’t remember anything, but it’s because the story was so bland.

My favorite book-related podcast is doing a series on Goosebumps, and honestly, I need a break after The Silmarillion and Anna Karenina.
So this one is about a pair of kids who find a slime-like substance called Monster Blood in a strange toystore. Monster Blood seems almost alive, and is a surprisingly compelling, um, thing. There are simple good guys and bad guys, a personal pet peeve, but I also turned the pages as quickly as I have in a long, long time (except for the final section), which is a feat.

The end of the book features a twist ending that's very much out of left field, and was a disappointment to an otherwise very entertaining read.
