Holy wow. What a rollercoaster of emotions
Started out slow but picked up. Just be prepared to be uncomfortable.

If you’re reading this book for a plot, you’ll be disappointed because it only makes up about 20% of the book. The rest of the book follows the interactions between the characters, so if you want taboo smut you won’t be disappointed.

Yes, the interactions, if not fiction, would be alarming but I think it’s unfair to review the book in that light. Considering its length I felt I sped through it and would recommend it for taboo romance readers.

There is a good plot in the last 1/4 of it, and I loved the ending.

This is a difficult one to review. The content is certainly going to push your boundaries too far or, blur them. At times i felt uncomfortable but I kept reading mainly because I thought the plot was interesting and I wanted to find out how these 4 very tortured souls were going to end up. I think the ending rounded up everything and I wasn’t left wondering about any loose ends, except maybe how weird family dinners will be when new additions to the family are added…?

I’ve seen recommendations for this book EVERYWHERE, so I thought I’d find out what all the fuss was about, and you know what? It was good. I didn’t think it was as “taboo” as some seemed to think it was, but it was a tad dark and full of tropes, and the spice was definitely spicing. My favorite part, though, was the complex characters and how each of the relationships unfolded between them. It was interesting, to say the least.
