Not interested in the main protagonist, lots of bloat, and the supernatural stuff isn't interesting me

I might be among the few who actually loved the first half of the story (maybe even more than the second half). I just loved how the world of the old age was described.
Other than that, I loved the story's connection to the Dark Tower and IT, of course, and I really liked the ending as well.
It was long though, almost excruciatingly long, but that's just King, and I think I'm finally getting used to reading such long stories.

This was an interesting book.  It is very long.  I save it to listen to on a very long car trip and got it finished in a few days.  It is an interesting concept and has some interesting characters.  There is supernatual (shocking) elements throughout.  I liked the beginning where we are eased into the main character's life.  It just was way too long, and I started to wish he would wrap it up.  Overall a solid read, but could have been about 200 pages shorter.

I really liked Ralph Roberts and Lois BUT this book was so long and boring. I fell asleep while reading and woke up at Ralph’s death scene which I think was horrifically gory for the death of an old man.
I enjoyed Ralph’s inclusion in Bag of Bones though.

In conclusion, my favorite character was Lois (only bc of family guy).

Also for a book about insomnia giving a man auras it has a lot of domestic violence and abortion talk which wasn’t awful but a bit weird to see in a book about special powers.

AUDIOBOOK: This was a really long book - almost 26 hours. I almost quit it during the prologue because I was so confused and annoyed. I liked the two main protagonists very much. I liked that it took place in Derry and referenced parts of the IT story. The ideas behind the main character’s insomnia was interesting but main it was convoluted. At times it just went on and on and irritated me. I still liked it, but would’ve liked it more with some editing.
