I really struggled in the first few chapters to become invested and I felt like there was a really big gap between them first meeting and then suddenly being incredibly emotionally connected. Once they began their relationship, I was all in and really enjoyed it but that was unfortunately a very small portion of the book so the pacing felt off and my emotional investment was pretty low for a lot of the book.
The povs change so often and the scenes are so short that it feels really rushed and clunky.
I also really really really hate the constant use of misogynistic slurs as a means of insulting one of the M c's. I don't care if it's realistic I'm tired of it.
