Absolutely delightful! A but if mystery, romance, and many curious, creative characters.

If this was not a book club book that I picked, I would have DNF'd it. So boring!!

Kit is the head librarian in a library in New Hampshire, where she is content with her peaceful and isolated existence. Things change when Sunny, a 15 year old doing community service, arrives. Then Rusty arrives. He is looking for a bank that holds funds from his mother's old savings account. This delightful book weaves together these characters and the other library regulars.

I liked this tale of chosen family and how individuals find their way out of darkness. I also love books that take place in libraries or bookstores. It has a slow groove so if you want a fast paced story, it's not for you.

Eh. Not sure what to say about this. Didn't live up to my expectations, but as a book I purchased while on vacation to read during vacation, that's not a surprise (consistent bad luck). I couldn't quite figure out what was happening or where it was supposed to go. Turned into kind of an anticlimax of a book that had no terribly powerful moments.

A book that takes place mostly in a library; misfits becoming friends.
