Enjoyed this one, but I don't like the way the author handles the ethics around policing. Seems to imply it's a good thing when the police can secretly orchestrate illegal courses of action when they're "good guys" after "bad guys". Vindictive undertone that I don't appreciate.

I adored this book! I love the British humor and the characters are so freaking lovable, it’s hard to not see yourself or a loved one in the main cast of characters. There are some throw away lines that may be triggering but a pretty big subplot is the police conspiring to put someone in jail for crimes they didn’t commit which could be triggering to people who have either experienced police misbehavior or are sick and tired of it.bookishbutch's review against another edition
