Another fun book in the Angelic Intervention series. I was in the mood for an uplifting Christmas book and this did not disappoint. It felt a bit like a Hallmark movie (department store worker Jake who doesn't believe in Christmas anymore due to tragedy meets hard-working Holly who needs to give her nephew Gabe the best Christmas ever since his dad is deployed).

Absolutely adore Debbie Macomber. I love her stories about Mrs. Miracle, so I automatically knew I was going to love this one… and this one definitely put me in the Christmas mood. It was such a cute, short, feel-good read that I was able to finish in a few hours.

Also, one of my favorite things about Debbie Macomber’s stories are her Cedar Cove recipes. I have yet to try one of them out, but everything just sounds so yummy!

Everyone’s favorite miracle…Mrs. Merkle aka Mrs. Miracle is back. This time Mrs. Miracle is helping out at Finley’s Department Store. J.R. Finley and his son, Jake have not celebrated Christmas in twenty one years. After the tragic accident on Christmas Eve, neither one felt like celebrating.

Holly Larson is caring for her nephew, Gabe. Holly’s brother and Gabe’s father, Mickey is in Afghanistan. For Christmas, Gabe has his eyes on the Intellytron robot. It costs two hundred and fifty dollars. Holly knows it will be tough but if she saves up every penny she could get the robot for Gabe. Will Holly’s Christmas wish cone true as well this year?

I both read and watched the Hallmark television movie of Mrs. Miracle. I like many other fans could not get enough of Mrs. Miracle. I was so excited to see Call Me Mrs. Miracle. I didn’t think it was possible to love Mrs. Miracle any more than I already did but I was wrong. She is a great match maker. Gabe was so cute. Holly and Jake made a perfect couple. As an added bonus there are several recipes inserted in this book. Call Me Mrs. Miracle will have you wishing for your own miracle.

This completes my guilty pleasure challenge for 2021! This book was utterly predictable, yet exactly what one needs during the chaos of the holiday season. The characters were sweet and relatable, the story was warm and loving. Had I been at home, under a blanket with a cup of coffee I may have teared up a bit. Happy Holidays Reader Friends!

It was the warmth a holiday story should, but is predictable enough that I fell asleep during part of the audiobook and didn't feel I missed anything important. Can see where it would work better as a movie.

This felt like a very short, simplistic story. It's sweet but I didn't like the writing style. There was too much exposition for my liking, rather than the scenes playing out you're told what happened. And it's too cheesy in some parts, something is said that someone wouldn't say. I read this because I seen the film so I knew the ending. I did enjoy the story but it just didn't feel like there wasn't much depth to it, which is a shame. Could even be 2*
