In this psychological thriller with a splash of the paranormal we follow the protagonist Gabriel who on the way home spots a car and it appears his daughter is in the vehicle, he tries to catch it in traffic but eventually stops at a roadside gas station and calls home, unfortunately he comes to realize this is a mistake. Finding out that his family has been murdered, his wife and daughter no one believes him that he saw his daughter being driven away but he can't accept that she's not alive. On his own for the next three years he travels the motorway giving up his former life for the one goal of finding his daughter. I really enjoyed the story although I came to the conclusion before the end, which is rare for me but found it a well written and compelling story. Perhaps I am a tad bit biased being that this is narrated in part by my favorite actor and narrator Richard Armitage. Highly recommend especially the Audible version. WW B7

This book laid out the entire mystery so it wasn't even thrilling or exciting. The entire book felt like I was wasting my time.

Shockingly boring for the hook at the beginning. I’m also put off by the horror/supernatural elements

I’ve been wanting to try this author for a while but am not convinced CJT will be a good fit for me

The story unfolds like a jigsaw puzzle, which can be a lot of fun. But when the book ended and I rearranged everything chronologically in my mind, the story was still kind of a hot mess.
