Loved this - definitely favorite in the series. I was a bit hesitant because of the sister's ex-husband/ ex-wife's brother thing but I ended up absolutely loving it!

Boone and Grady were so good! I loved this forbidden Brother in Law romance! Both characters finding themselves in different ways and with each other was so good. The tension with the family was heart wrenching but made the final outcome soo much sweeter ❤️ I love the portrayal of the whole Copper Lake Family in each of Ashleys books, and this one is no exception of that! I can’t wait to see whats next!

Every single book in the series has been incredible so far! Here we focus on Boone, recently divorced, and Grady his brother in law. Grady comes to live with his sister and Boone for some time, and when a (HOT) encounter happens, it soon seems that these two can’t stop thinking about each other.
It was the first time for me reading a brother in law romance, and if I was a bit afraid at first, Ashley did an amazing job here. Jade (Grady’s sister) is not the bad woman, the one that’s in the way, in fact she is a wonder, and I absolutely loved every moment with her. As for the two lovebirds, well let’s just say they just can’t keep their hands (and other body parts) off each other. And the feelings

It's crazy how you can be so sure of who you are until one special person walks into your life and makes you question it all.
The tension, the angst, the banter, the love - sooo good!
I love this author, her writing and her storytelling and this was no exception.
Wish I was a part of Copper Lake and the whole rodeo crew, seriously a wonderful found family!
Genre: MM romance
Tropes: Small town, single dad, sister's ex-husband, professional bull rider, age gap, bi awakening, forced proximity.
Trigger warnings: No.
"Maybe just one night. Maybe just for tonight, I'm not Grady and you're not Boone… my sister's ex-husband. Just one night."
ARC review:
This was more angsty than the previous books in the series, but still with the same vibes, banter, tension and so much love. I loved the forbidden aspect of the relationship, but it definitely added a lot of angst and push/pull both between the characters and with the doing what's right and what's important.
Grady Wilde is a college drop-out who is living with his sister, her ex-husband and their daughter, while he pursues a career as a photographer. I just loved him so much. He knows what he wants, he's outgoing and sassy, and such a sweetheart, but he also has his struggles. Seeing him slowly grow as a person, and as a photographer was great.
Boone Stanton is a professional bull rider and part of the rodeo crew in Copper Lake. He has a deep sense of loyalty and a strong protective streak, which is good but has also caused him trouble in really experiencing who he actually is and all his own feelings. Seeing his bi-awakening was great, and with the added angst of it being his ex-wife's younger brother was just beautiful and also a bit of a tear-jerker.
"You need to watch me. You don't get to forget who it is making you feel this fucking good."
There is no denying the chemistry and attraction between Grady and Boone, and I just kept waiting for the tension to snap and them giving in. I was surprised they held out for so long, but at the same time it was not an easy situation they were in, and I really loved how careful it all was handled. They both struggled with wanting more from one another, and hurting their sister/ex-wife's feelings, and also how it might impact Boone's daughter.
The found family of the rodeo crew shines bright once again. The mix of very supportive and loving friends, and friends who nags, teases and pushes them to explore and get all they want is all I want in a friendgroup.
This book only increased my want to live in Copper Lake, so I can hang out with these guys and become a part of their shenanigans.
"I want to taste you as you drip down the back of my throat, and then I want to fuck you while you get hard for me all over again and come with my cock so far in your hole that you'll be able to feel me long after I'm done."

Ma'am. Mrs. James. Ashley. Holy Moly. Grady and Boone are EVERYTHING. The pull they have to each other is absolutely beautiful. Even though they both don't want the connection because of who it could potentially hurt, they just can't stay away, and I loved everything about their story.

If you’re looking for a swoony + spicy cowboy romance, look no further because the Copper Lake boys check all the boxes thoroughly.
I have so easily fallen in love with each couple throughout the Copper Lake series and these two are no different. Boone and Grady tried really hard to fight their attraction for each other and it was torture waiting for them to finally give in. But when they did…. My oh my (grab a fan cause it gets HOT in here). Daddy Boone brings the HEAT and he ain’t playing around! Be prepared for some hardcore pining, denial and stolen moments as these two navigate their relationship. It’s 100% worth the wait!
