Well now. Book 3 in the Copper Lake series and all the ... everything is in this book! It was so good. We continue to follow the Copper Lake rodeo group as they travel and compete. This book focuses on the "forbidden," with Boone and Grady.

Grady has been in the family for years, as Boone's brother in law. With the divorce pending between Jade and Boone, things are shifting for Boone and Grady. Feelings that Boone never knew he had are coming to the surface and he and Grady can't have what they want. It's not fair to Jade.

The heart wants what the heart wants, and brings with it some wreckage and turmoil.

I liked the angst in this one. Both people knew what they were doing wasn't right. It's a bi-awakening/gay for you for Boone and Grady is getting a fantasy come to life. Jade is right where you'd expect her to be with everything.

Grady really comes into who he is in this book, and he and Boone are great for one another. I also love the rodeo group wrap ins, where we get to still interact with the other characters.

High angst, high spice, high tension read!
