medium-paced
- Strong character development? It's complicated
- Loveable characters? No

It's a no from me.
I put down a book 9 of 9 book series I was reading (and obsessed with) to read this. That's how excited I was. I loved books 1 and 2.
This made me feel dirty and not in the good way.
Cheating vibes although technically not cheating. Boone and Grady just weren't it. The constant reminders of how forbidden their relationship was supposed to be were not exciting they were just gross( sleeping with you ex brother in law while his sister is upstairs 🤢).
Gray kept putting up boundaries and Boone keeps ignoring them and the setting his own which Grady ignores.
Boone makes comparisons about how comfortable it feels to be kissing Grady but it gives off "you kiss like your sister who happens to be my ex" vibes
Neither one seem to respect to the other.
I missed the rest of the gang.
There is a caveat: the writing was fine. I like the author and their work but the plot for me was not nice.
