Boichi liebe ich schon allein wegen seine „Sun-Ken Rock“ Reihe und daher war klar, dass ich die Dr. Stone Reihe auch lesen möchte. Band 1 hat mir schon mega gut gefallen, sowohl von der Story als auch vom Zeichenstil. Meine Review dazu findet ihr HIER.
Auch Band 2 war sehr gut. Senku ist ein Genie und ich finde die Idee eines absoluten Neustarts der Zivilisation mit dem Wissen der Neuzeit sehr interessant. Auch der soziale Aspekt spielt hier eine große Rolle. Ich finde es immer interessant, wie Leute sich in neuen oder Extremsituationen verhalten, welche Gedankengänge sie haben, wie sich Gruppen zusammenschließen oder bestimmte Personen nach Macht streben.
Das alles bekommt man in dem Manga gewürzt mit einer deftigen Prise Humor und einem sehr dynamischen, kräftigen Zeichenstil. Ich liebe es wie Boichi seine Charaktere zeichnet. Sein Zeichenstil hat einem extrem hohen Widererkennungswert.
Inhaltlich möchte ich eigentlich nichts verraten, weil alles nur spoilern würde. Es war aber sehr spannend und es gab einige Überraschungen, sowohl gut als auch böse.
Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Teil.

I mean, who REALLY thought that the main character was going to kick the bucket this early into the series?
Maybe as a weekly comic tactic to build tension it would work, but looking at the library shelf, there were at least 5 more volumes to go.
...
lol, a "breaking of the fellowship" already? Again, it's so early in the series, but I guess that's what people thought when Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli went off to find Merry & Pippin shortly before the end of the first book.

Going into this, I thought this would be a man vs. nature story, but it's looking more like it will be about two kingdoms with competing philosophies. The latter doesn't seem as compelling to me without some really good characters. And Dr. Stone doesn't have that yet. We'll see.
