I think if you've spent a lot of time reading and learning about Israel's violence and genocide against the Palestinians, you might not find much new in this book, but it is good to see an Israeli professor speaking out so forcefully against the actions done by his home country just to highlight that the dominant Israeli narrative does have its internal detractors. It's an interesting set of discussions, and it's again always heartbreaking to see that this conflict is so longstanding and that it doesn't ever seem to get better because the US just continues to fund it.  

Very good book for starters, although somewhat "messy" in its organization.
