I'm seriously getting frustrated about the Medusa okay. Kill Ibara and get on with that petrification thing! Augh, I seriously want to scream right now—the gang is petrified once again, and it's up to Senku to crack this mystery. And my heart did flutter a little when Hyoga chose to pick the gang as his ally. Man, I feel like crying, that boy really has his faith in Senku and Science. But man, this is really a great read.

Ooh and we're back! It starts off with more reviving of our crew, "teaming up" with Moz to the petrification device from Ibara and Kirisame. Of course, things don't go to plan- Moz betrays us, and Ibarra betrays everyone and decides to petrify the whole island. (And in the end, this is what happens with our crew, except Senku getting re-petrified.) We recruit Hyoga to fight Moz and Hyoga understands his part in the Kingdom of Science and that he slowly realizes how each member works together. He wins his fight, and I think his slow turning to our side was intriguing.

What happens now?
  1. What about Ibara?
  2. Who is that strange statue that got dredged up with our petrified crew down in the ocean?
  3. Where did this Medusa tech come from? What's the range on this thing? And what language is it that Ibarra speaks to activate it?
  4. Is Senku on his own again?
  5. Is there more revival fluid? If so, who will Senku chose to revive first?

ps. Why did we have so many Tsukasa's in the chapter title art? I don't think we'll see him for a good while...

The Treasure Island arc is almost over as the final battle starts against the Petrification Kingdom. Throughout the book, the petrification device or Medusa passes from one person to another while turning a bunch of people to stone in the process. Eventually, it all comes down to Senku to save his Kingdom and its people. Though I hate Ibara he is very smart and cunning also physically superior to Senku as well. The ending was great. I really liked this volume overall.
