It is good for what it is, but it wasn't what I was hoping for. I wanted far more information on native crop plantings, methods, companion plantings, but it's more of a book generally about it all. I really should have noticed "Stories, Projects, and Recipes for Families" on the cover, but I had my arms rather full at the library already. It is no fault of the author. If you are looking for generalized info on native gardening, and projects to do with children, this could be great.
