When my son decides he likes a book, he likes you to read it so many times consecutively that the words lose all meaning. Fox in Sox is one of those books.
No two ways about it, this book is an endless series of fun tongue twisters. It's fun to read out loud but after the first ten times, everything blends together and your brain starts feeling like warm oatmeal.
Fox is Sox is some brain-melting, tongue-twisting good fun.

If your read Fox in Socks seven or more times in rapid succession, it transports you a short distance into the future where you never want to read Fox in Socks again.
Someone bought this book for my son before he was born. He was never particularly interested in it. Last night, on the eve of his fourth birthday, I must have read this thing eight or nine times. It's a lot of fun to read and I get great joy out of my son saying "Fox in Socks, our game is done sir!" when I get to the end.
Fun though it may be, this thing is a bunch of tongue twisters with tongue twisters for dessert. If you're not prepared, you'll shame yourself in front of your kids.

My poor mouth can't say that. No, sir. My poor mouth is much too slow, sir." ei saa ma nende keeleväänajatega hakkama ja lisaks selgub, et ma pole kunagi päris kindel olnud, kuidas hääldada sõnu "sew" ja "crow".

Seriously, rhyming ridiculousness that I am so lucky I don't have to read to children. Love this!

This is the first book, I ever read by myself. Probably why I'm so weirdly obsessed with foxes.

Probably my favorite. The lines frequently pop into my stream of consciousness.
"Chicks with bricks come.
Chicks with blocks come.
Chicks with Bricks and blocks and clocks come.
Look, sir. Look, sir. Mr Knox, sir."
You cannot really top that, except for maybe with some parts of "Green Eggs and Ham."

I have so many things to say and none of them are nice. This book consists of a bunch of tongue twisters, which seems like it would be okay, but it‰ЫЄs not‰Ы_ It is completely miserable to read.
ETA: I was just sent this Fox on Sox Rap on Reddit and now I don‰ЫЄt know how to feel. This is the only acceptable reading of this book and, moral of the story, put on a beat before you knock it.
‰Ы_ but Im still knocking it.
