Finally!!!!! My library has just gotten this series on Libby and I'm loving this series. I previously mentioned I'm reading Lovesick Ellie at the same time. But this is just sooo good and interesting. Loving the bad boy/good quiet girl vibes. I can feel a great series coming along. 

Swoonworthy, giggling and kicking my feet! I love how Zen saw past Risa’s hard exterior and all of the special moments where he made her feel cared for, understood and special. I wasn’t a huge fan of Zen’s pushiness though, and sometimes the dialogue fell flat. But overall,  it’s a super cute story that I’m happy I picked up.

Zen and Risa! Risa helps a deliquent boy Zen after he is beaten up and sitting in the rain. They trade off helpng other (even giving each other a coupon). Risa is slowly learning to relie on others esp Zen. 

I love how relatable the female protagonist is, learning how to connect with and rely on others. Then there's the comedic relief love interest with his cringey romance lines lol

₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁this manga is so so cute, adorable, and fun! the story follows risa amakawa, a straight-laced, hardworking, no-nonsense high school girl who one day, rescues a delinquent who had collapsed in a park after losing a fight. risa, who has a crush on her cram school teacher, mizuki-san, hates how she is not as cute or friendly as the other girls and constantly tries to change her stoic demeanor. then one day, zen, the delinquent she had helped, appears before amakawa and says "let me repay you for saving me". i so so enjoyed reading this manga! first, the art style is so so pretty!! featuring lots of flowers, hearts, shimmers, and sparkles in the cute romantic scenes. second, i really liked the characters. someone mentioned in another review that the characters resemble a golden retriever mmc and a black cat fmc, and i think that's really fitting for them. i also liked his friends as well. the mmc had me swooning and i fell in love with the fmc immediately, because she feels so real somehow and relatable in a way. she seems to be struggling with anxiety and with asking for help/relying on others, and it felt comforting reading about a character that feels real in a way like that and it was inspiring seeing her slowly open up and allowing herself to rely on others as well, and to see her realizing that it's okay to ask for help. third, the romance is so lovely in this one and feels so safe and healthy. idk why, but i really like the delinquent boy & smart good girl trope (when not toxic), especially in this one. because he is actually really caring and considerate, which i love. and they both bring out the best in each other. he helps her understand herself better and stirs up her feelings. and they promise to always help each other when the other needs help, which i found very sweet (they even have made coupons for each other so they can contact each other, and only each other!!). he still remains a bit mysterious. so i'm curious to hopefully getting to learn more about him in the next volume. there are many cute, blush-worthy, and foot-kicking-worthy moments woven throughout the story, including a kiss! i couldn't stop giggling the whole time. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
