I am deeply attached to this world and to this characters. This was a much more emotional read than expected. The character development of Ryke and Daisy from the first book until now, is insane. The journey has been beautiful. I might not be the biggest Raisy advocate, but I can't deny that they are perfect for each other. Individually they are bothered strong and selfless characters and their relationship with the others is sooo beautiful. Ryke is such an amazing brother, an amazing friend and a dad.

This last installment took me ages to get through. Partly because I'm not a huge fan of Ryke or Daisy and partly because nothing much happens for half the book.

Still, it turned out to be a heartwarming end to the series and it just hit me how much I really love these characters and how I'll probably read anything to do with them. I never thought I'd care so much for a bunch of rich white kids with first-world problems. But dammit I do. I can't believe it's really over. I feel so content, like I've been on the longest emotional journey with the coolest nerdiest friends.

I have this theory,
that we all have a sun that holds us to this earth, that forces us to live in the moment, to stay alive, that makes us want to climb the highest mountain to see what is up there. And after reading this book, after living so many things with them, I can confirm two things. One, that this theory is true. And two, that love is forever. #RaisyIsAlive
