Lost with a Scot. Oh my gosh! Read this story please. In my mind I was swept away to the Scottish highlands and England. This story was very captivating, as well as wonderfully written. Aiden and Anna are the it couple when it comes to a sweet romantic historical romance novel.
Anna is a strong, intelligent woman with a head on her shoulders. Aiden is much the same, but he is a fierce Scottish warrior who loves his people very much. I found myself liking all the characters. Their motivations and or actions fell in side by side with the plot, therefore enhancing the story even better. This is when I knew that I was reading an entertaining book.
Page after page the words offered me a clear visual of the characters and how they moved throughout the story. The plot was very logical and was set well with the time frame for back then. The part that stuck out to me the most is when Anna revealed her warrior capabilities in action. Knocking down mercenaries and martial arts moves was interesting indeed. The Scottish character’s accent was written in wonderfully.
I always believe writing in character’s with their accents makes the reader relate more to the characters. The dialogue among the characters was clear. The story background was believable. This story held strong to the heavy emotions that surrounded each character. I absolutely loved how each person, that is Aiden’s brother’s and sister- in- laws stood for that one person, because it was all in relation to a families honor.
Alexi’s character I thought was marvelously written. The bond between the brother and sister was visibly strong. It made me hope that all will turn out well for the two. The romance between Aiden and was steamy, but pure with love, and intertwined with some lustful desires. This story is a warm historical romance that I look forward to reading again in the future.
I don’t believe that I will get enough of Aiden and Anna’s story. I give this book two snaps and a, “Aiden, I draw the line at having the animals in our bedroom. The highlight of my life is each night with you above me and that’s all the animal I need.” Until next time my fellow readers… read on! I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
