Everything lit fic should be. A book about anxiety that isn’t dreadful. Made me reflect about internet, US politics, family, etc etc. but in the best way. So moving and will stay with me

Not my kind of ending. I enjoyed reading about the complicated relationship between two sisters and a critical mother.

I flew through this book, I thought it was smart, fascinating, relevant, funny and raw. I don’t have a sister but this gave me a glimpse into what that relationship could look like. I am surprised by how much I enjoyed this despite my preference for plot heavy reads.

don’t really get the point of this book? falls into my usual category of girls in their 20s trying to figure it out, but didn’t resonate with me. does make me feel okay that i can’t relate because this means that i’m not quite as angsty as jules & poppy.

Despite the ending (out of left field!!) I loved this book!!! I have already been recommending it to so many people. It’s FUNNY like laugh-out-loud teenage girl humor and reflects on brainrot and internet culture in such a smart way. Every time I reached for my phone while reading this book, I thought twice about it! Also the depiction of sisterhood and what it means to be family was right on and devastating. Don’t be fooled by the internet focus, this novel still packs a punch! Check trigger warnings, but I’m so glad I started 2025 with this one

as a jew, the constant comments about jews were just weird and unnecessary. Also the ending was so underwhelming??? And the two main characters were both insufferable
