Our entire backroom just read this book and you could tell everyone was a little worried about what Gerald would say to Piggie after she showed off her trumpet skillz. And everyone made the same "AW!!!!" noise on page 50. We <3 Mo.

What starts out as a simple story about honesty, turns into an adorable tale of friendship.

Very cute book. I really enjoyed the ending.

As with the other Elephant and Piggie books, the text is simple, the pictures are cute, and it is fun to read together with different voices. This one has the added bonus of making fun elephant/trumpet noises.

Great book. A very fun read.

Gerald and Piggie are the best of friends, even when Gerald must tell Piggie the truth about his trumpet playing. A surprise ending makes this the best of the best Mo Willems stories.

Clever story. Enjoyable outcome. My favorite illustration is the pig's first attempt at playing. Fun book!

I love Elephant & Piggie books! This one was full of fun sound effects that will sound different every time you read the book, it's a cute story and the series is by far, the best 60-ish page kids book. I've read other Mo Willems books, but it's always Elephant & Piggie that my kids go back to. Can't wait to read the next one!

Piggie and Elephant tales are wonderful to read aloud and to learn to read and read to yourself and to read again and to read in your house and to read in the library. (And, to write reviews that others read... You get it :>)

Do you play a trumpet? Do you play a trunk?

I love Elephant's expressions! One of the things Mo Willems does best, of course. Loved the "surprise" ending.
