My favorite serial killer, Dexter, is back in his fifth book appearance. This time he is attempting to balance a new infant with his Dark Passenger's needs. The book focuses well on Dexter's battle to balance his polar opposite lives. I enjoyed it greatly even if it was almost two hundred pages before Dexter and the Passenger got to hunt.

What a hideous display of botched police procedure. If this was real life, none of the people in this series would be working for the Miami Police Department for long. Not to mention the absurdity of the cannibal plot. Dexter is Delicious was certainly a miss for the series and hopefully the rest of the books are better.

After reading 5 of these books I've decided that I much prefer the TV series to the book series.

Debra and a particular situation!!
We were so robbed by that series, I though I loved it but now I want to slap someone.

Not as well written as the last 4 books and a bit predictable - disappointing overall!
