Not quite as good as Lady Audley’s Secret, but still a great romp of a novel. Braddon’s writing style simply compels you to keep reading, even if the situation feels incredulous!

This isn't as much fun as Lady Audley's Secret but it's still pretty entertaining, and Aurora is a surprisingly realistic character -- she certainly feels more like a human being than most of the women in Dickens.

Finally done with Aurora Floyd. I enjoyed it pretty well at first, but the longer it went on the more the story dragged along. I almost DNF’d it halfway through. Lady Audley’s Secret was a lot more fun and full of crazy twists and turns than this sensation novel. The main sensation I experienced was boredom.

Read for my course this semester but as is often the case with Victorian literature this could be like a hundred pages shorter

Not the most innovative plot, but I found the writing and characters entertaining and thoroughly enjoyed my time reading this one.
