informative reflective medium-paced

Quick overview of a array of Christian topics. Grudem does a good job of keeping solid arguments and explanations while also being more concise and direct than his other books.

I would rank this low on the readability scale - it feels like a text book. You can definitely tell it is a summary of other works. In fact, it feels like a Cole's Notes version. However, it is a good overview of the general principles of Scripture and the divergent views on certain topics. As such it serves as a good reference book. It would also be valuable for adolescents or those who are new to the faith.
informative fast-paced

This is the extreme cliff notes version of Systematic Theology. It's a good overview of a wide span of topics. It can encourage its readers to seek more in-depth information on these topics elsewhere. But it's not really a book that answers the "why?" question very well.
