one of those books that felt like they could've been written by anyone writting for kids, not really dr. seuss special. a mouse and a bird explore a people's house, and say all the things they encounter. felt very random.

Needed more exposition. Why was the mouse giving the bird a tour of the house? Why did the bird care what is in a people house? How did the mouse become an authority on people houses?

This book was one of my favorites when I was a kid. I loved Dr. Seuss. I think this book definitely stands the test of time. It is easy to read, a fun story and something kids will enjoy.
