I can honestly say that this is quite different than the Mindy Paige I'm used to reading. Needless to say, I absolutely loved it! I love a good dark, stalking romance, and Mindy nailed these tropes like none other. From the very first page, not even the first chapter...I mean the first page, and she draws you into this dark, unknown charter that still leaves you wondering who he is at the end. But even through the main book, the 2 main characters, WOW! This is a page-turner that will have you gripping your seat until the very last page.

Lillith, a 24 year old intern resident at the hospital, is tired, worn out, and had no friends in her life. She doesn't have time for them. Well, except for a pigeon she feeds every morning. She has such a dark past, but she has repressed so many memories about it. One day, 2 men are brought into the hospital in critical condition. The one she works on, she has these weird feelings and connecting with.

She can't explain it, but after working with this man, everything in her life starts becoming even darker or weirder. People start showing their true colors, who they really are. Her nightmares become worse. Memories start flooding in of the things she has repressed. Why is this happening?

Kain, 34 years old, has been in the Hellfyre MC. His life is not easy, nor has it ever been. He is quite the psychopath, but one look at Lillith, his flower, he is hooked. Seeing her leads into chains of events that involve obsession and stalking. He can't have anything happening to her before he gets to touch her. Saying he is a little unhinged is an under statement. His stalking is to keep her safe. These traits also lead to eventually kidanapping Lillith.

The twist, turns, and betrayal in this book are everything that leads to making this book amazing. Oh my gosh, how Lillith learns she is connected to Kain in ways makes her threat a savior. Kain brings out a darkness in her that had always been there. Their darkness together is one of beauty. They save each other. Mindy, girl, you had me hooked, and I couldn't put this book down. I truly hope there is a book soon about the unknown, Ghost character. He needs his own story!!

I received this book as an ARC from the author herself and this is my honest opinion. Read this book!
