Maybe I was in the mood for a stalker book, but I ate this one UP! Oh my goodness, it was written so wonderfully, I enjoyed Kain and Lilith together, their connection and understanding of how twisted life can be was *chefs kiss* I REALLY enjoyed Ghost. So, perhaps, I’m the twisted one here

I really did like how dark this was, but the motorcycle club part was kinda weird to me? In the book it’s really mentioned or it’s not really a main focus for the first bit of the story, not like now synopsis of the book says it is. I wish it was more focused on Kain and Lilith and less on that. I wanted more about them. She definitely forgave him and got over the stalking, kidnapping, and killing quickly. Which is totally fine but with the second half being all about the club it was just weird to me.  It’s not even heavily focused on until towards the end. It feels just a little slapped together with dark and motorcycle club. If you want both of them, I just wanted the two to work more seamlessly.

- Dark romance
- Stalker
- Touch her at your own peril

Wow, this book was so compelling that I had an exceptionally hard time putting it down. This book is dark, so please make sure to check the TW before reading.

Both of the main characters have had hard lives and I found it interesting to see how each of them dealt with the hand life had given them.

Lilith has devoted her life to serving others by becoming a doctor. Kain had many choices taken from him and has become an expert at compartmentalizing.

The two meet after an unfortunate incident leaves Kain in the hospital. Lilith isn't sure what draws her to the scarred man, but she knows her life will never be the same. Kain is so drawn to Lilith that he begins following her and leaving little presents for her. He knows he will eventually take her, but his time schedule has been moved up when he realizes she is also being watched by someone else...

My heart was racing as I read this book. It captivated me and I never wanted it to end. Absolutely brilliant story!!

Have you ever wondered what would have happened in a universe where Jax kidnaps Tara and then she experiences a form of Stockholm syndrome and falls in love (Sons of Anarchy)? Then I have the book for you! I really enjoyed The Devil’s Vice by Mindy Paige. (Spoiler free!) This is not a SOA retelling that I’m aware of. I just happened to notice similarities in the two main characters. This is a dark motorcycle stalker romance. It does have some heavy trigger warnings so please check before reading! It is a bit of a slow burn spice-wise, but I read this 513 page book in two days! For me, it was very fast-paced and I didn’t notice the lack of spice in the first half of the book. It has dual points of view and it’s available on kindle unlimited! She is an indie author and self-published, I believe. So there are some typos, but it was easy for me to overlook. My biggest gripe was the overuse of the word “coo” in some form or fashion. If I took a shot every time I read it, I’d have alcohol poisoning. But other than that, I feel it would be a great intro into dark romance! 4/5⭐️
