OH MY FUCKING GOD THAT ENDING KILLED ME. Ok the book as it self was AMAZING, and the ending i have no coment. I was crying 20 minutes and i don't know what just happend. The shit went down and i was crying like 20 - 30 minutes. Loved this book.
Reread 2019: I forgot how hard hitting this book was. Asks a lot of deep questions and also, I just love Kate even more in this one. I wish I had more time with August though, become alright with himself again even through the changes. And more time with the Wardens.
Slight spoiler:
Because of the ending, I wonder if another Sunai will appear?

This book left me completely shattered. But it was oh so beautiful. I love the turn this story took. I love seeing how the characters' journeys tied up. There was so much world-building done in this, which made the setting feel bigger and the stakes got a lot higher. It also made the story feel a little bit more dystopian. There was also a lot of character development, which I always appreciate in a story. And the ending... what can I say other than I didn't see it coming, but it left me completely heartbroken. Such a good duology!!
