A good story but a little too predictable for this woman. I enjoyed the characters but I really would have liked more.

Fantastic story!

This was a book that was hard to put down! I stayed up too late to read it and was back up early to finish. That feeling has been missing from the last several books I've read. Sloane Kennedy can write! Every book that I've read from this author has drawn me in and let me live in the world created. A new must buy author for me!

I only vaguely remembered this book, but I'm glad I re-read it as I work my way through the Protectors World. It's a pretty simple story with a lot of small town prejudice being the main issue in the story. I liked Finn, Callan, and Rhys individually and as a group. Though the connection with Rhys for both of the other men is very much insta-love. I glossed over it more because Finn and Callan's attraction to Rhys is really the catalyst to them finally admitting to each other their feelings. It's a quick story, but I enjoyed the read and the ending definitely had some great impact for such a quick story. Even if it's a little extreme. Looking forward to the next book.

So, obviously I am binging all the Sloane Kennedy series. I liked this book very much but it was too short, it felt too rushed. So to be a 5 stars read it would have had to be twice the length for the story to develop. The chemistry was great and every character was totally lovable.
