Slow to begin. I had high hopes and it did end much better but I probably would have rather just DNF. Again, it was better at the end and there were some really good parts but -- eh!

I really enjoyed this book. It was constantly twisting and turning, and the ending was great!

I started this at 10 PM and finished at 3 AM. I liked the different backgrounds of the characters and I thought the suspense was especially well done. It seemed like Coben was leaving more clues than usual. I was quite satisfied (and a little sleepy) at the end.

A page turner. As always you're guessing right up to the end.

I didn't think this was one of Coben's bests. It felt rushed.

Harlan Coben’s Stay Close is yet another, fast-paced suspense. Read in less than a day, it goes without saying that getting invested in the journey of these characters was not a challenge for me.
Stay Close follows the journey of three main characters: Megan, Ray and Broome. When a crime happens in Atlantic City, the three of them are extracted from their comfortable, suburban lives, and return to a city where they were entwined in an eerily similar case, twenty years ago.
A nice bonus to this read is that it also has a Netflix adaptation. While I can’t say I’ve watched it yet, I do acknowledge that this alone speaks to the fast-pacing of the writing, keeping readers invested from the moment they crack the cover.
I’ve been recommended several of Coben’s reads, and after reading this one with such ease, I can guarantee that while it’s my first - it won’t be my last!
