This is a quite amusing take on the Loki and Thor relationship as they spend time on earth as 'humans' to learn a few lessons but of course Loki struggles to follow the rules and is tasked with keeping a diary that monitors his behaviour and sees if he can learn to be a better human (god?). This is well written and amusing and well aimed at the younger reader with plenty of little jokes that will certainly hit the spot with them. As an adult it was also rather enjoyable too.
The second instalment of the trials and tribulations of Loki’s time exiled to earth for being a complete rotter through and through sees Thor’s hammer going missing and everyone blaming Loki, but this time it really wasn’t him that stole it!
But even more devastating than that is Valerie makes a new friend and Loki doesn’t know how to cope with this at all. Feelings huh.
Loki has to discover who stole Thor’s Hammer and why to prove himself innocent and made the decision to consult the Internet… Not as smart a god as he thinks he is

I don't give star ratings to the books I read my daughter because I am torn between rating how she felt, rating how good a book for children I thought it was and rating how I personally found this book.
But this one is a cracker, let's be honest, so I've given it the full 5 stars on reflection, because it's a 5 in all three of those areas.
This sequel includes the appearance of Lady Sif talking about the cutting of her hair so was also a catalyst to me and my daughter going back and watching S1 of the Loki TV series where that comes up and also watching the first film as it features Sif prominently.
