One of my all time favorite books ❤️
DNF because I just can't take it anymore. I really like the premise. I like the writing and I like the story (hence the 3 star rating). But I just feel too much emotion to keep reading. I know Clara is going to get hurt by Alexander and I know there is going to be a cliffhanger and several more books of drama between them. I just had to get off the roller coaster because I'm too much of a wimp to go through it all with them.

Ugh - so it started great, last 3rd I hated and almost DNF because I was just annoyed with them. Same problems, same weird time and place for sex - annoyed. And then the last 2 pages got me back in. TBD on if I keep going with it.

This really reminded me of Fifty Shade of Grey... and I dropped that book.
This was something and nothing at all. Like there were some things I enjoyed and wanted to know more about it and then there was the main couple and nothing happened. They had mood swings that occured due to minor inconveniences and insecurities - which I get, believe me, I am a pro at letting my insecurities run wild with my thoughts but this felt unreasonable (which okay, does happen with insecurities) and really for nothing.
Also loved how Clara was like "Oh what you don't want happily ever after with me???" while that was basically the first thing he told her.
And can we talk about Clara's eating disorder? Good thing to write about it BUT NOT LIKE THAT? Maybe I am wrong and this was very well written but her mentioning every other page how she always forgets to eat and how she is not as skinny as others.
Also Pepper felt misogynistic. Like she was unneccessarily mean and evil, for really now reason other than being Clara's enemy???

It is really showing how old it is and if I continue reading this then for Edward and Belle because I wanna know what happens to them.
