Very inspiring and warm-hearted. You can tell Brian Selznick loves movies, and older ones in particular. This is a perfect picture book to read during spooky season.

This was a super cute (and spooky) short story with amazing (and clever) portrait drawings.

This delightful quick tale shares the story of a dreaming boy who finds out dreams can come true. In true Selznick style this book contains amazing pencil drawings that bring the story to life.

A great recommendation for a a struggling reader, a Selznick fan & any boy who dreams.

Brian Selznick has quickly become one of my favorite illustrators. This book is wonderful to look at, and the story is great.

Alonzo King wants to be the boy of a thousand faces like his hero Lon Chaney. Will he do it?

i can't say i loved this as much as Brian's other books, but it was nice to go back and see how much he's evolved as a writer!

And to think I never knew Brian Selznick wrote a book about me. If only it were longer!
