I would love if this series became 'women of the Marvel universe come to California and help Kate'.

I enjoyed this one a lot more! It felt like Kate got her groove and I’m really enjoying the way her story in LA is progressing. I’m really disappointed I don’t have volume 3, or a comic store near me, because the next story looks gooooood.

This was better than volume 1 but still didn't blow me away.

So Kate comes face to face with her worst enemy. Her pops. Now this asshole has done a lot of terrible things but did you know he has powers? Yeah, me either. So with a Purple Man-lite thing going on Kate might be in more trouble then she expected. With her scooby group of crime fighters she must go through some fight club shit and cracking a brand new case.

Overall, it's fun. Kelly Thompson does good with the dialogue. The best issue was actually the one shot with Kate and Laura and little gabby. They all team up to take out some bad guys and it's filled with a lot of funny moments. I also enjoyed Kate here more, this is more intense yet has better humor than the last volume. Still a little boring at times and the dialogue heavy pages can be a bit much. Also, the villain is boring. A 3 out of 5.

Kate Bishop's LA LA Land adventures as Hawkeye continue but now she comes face to face both with her own father and Madame Masque.

This book is so all over the place that I was ready to give up the series until the final page brings an old favorite back into the fold and now I'm actually looking forward to volume three. Please don't let me down.

“I like her jokes, Laura. There’re way too many, sure, but some of them are pretty good!”

Fucking fantastic. Kelly Thompson gets Kate's voice so perfectly. The story is a perfect mix of superheroics, indie detective movie, and family drama. The art is great, Romero draws faces in a wonderfully expressive style, not dissimilar to faves of mine like Chris Samnee or even Adrian Tomine. The action is great too, the panel layouts are inventive yet clear. And Jordie Bellaire's colors continue to astonish, there were times when they reminded me of the hypersaturated look of Matt Wilson, and one scene had a great Francesco Francavilla-esque contrast going on. But I think that's just all in line with the LA setting. Yes sir, this is literally one of my favorite books ever. Hooray!

Solid entry in the Hawkeye series. Fun, attractive, and well worth a read.

No me importaría en absoluto tener el talento de Kelly Thompson.

La historia avanza y lo hace muy bien, cameo al final en el que todo genial, mucha amistad y risas. Gráficamente me gusta muchísimo el estilo.
