Very short story. Two chapters long. At the end of Quiche of Death.

Not my normal read, but going with the Christmas theme. I doesn't lead me on to want to read any of the others. Old fashioned dowdy lady detective bustling around is not my thing really. The length of the book does it no favours with its lack of space for development and abrupt end.

This book is the first book of M.C. Beaton. I would say that I did not hate it, I read it quite easily and quickly. It was a really light read, nevertheless I thought it was too short, and that the story, the inquiries and mystery are quite simple and even obvious.
In fact, I think that it was not really a mystery book, and at the same time it did not make me really laugh either.
Maybe I began with the wrong book. Again, it is not a bad book, I read it but, I was quite unsure about the story itself it was maybe a little too easy.
